As Superman, he fights the villain Lex Luthor and as a reporter, Clark Kent, tries to win over Lois Lane.

Directed by Richard Donner and starring Christopher Reeve (Clark Kent / Superman), Superman, the film, was a British, Swiss, Panamanian and American joint venture, produced by Warner Bros. Superman was released in December 1978 with critical acclaim and financial success, was nominated for 3 Oscars, including best editing, best music and best sound mix, and won ”Best Visual Effects”.
