Highlights from Star Wars Celebration Japan
During the Star Wars Celebration in Japan, Tony Gilroy and Diego Luna shared exclusive details about the second and final season of Andor, which premiered today on Disney+. The show will consist of 12 episodes, structured in four arcs of three episodes, each covering roughly one year in Cassian’s journey, culminating just three days before the events of Rogue One.

A Darker, Deeper Star Wars
Gilroy emphasized that the tone remains mature, political, and grounded, diving deeper into themes of trauma, addiction, personal sacrifice, and moral ambiguity. Luna described Cassian as evolving from a reluctant survivor into a determined revolutionary - the emotional and ideological heart of the Rebellion.
